Robin Workman

Robin Workman has extensive experience in highways maintenance and construction both domestically and abroad. His research includes the use of satellite imagery and aircraft mounted LiDAR surveys to assess the condition of pavement assets.

Darko Kokot

Darko is a senior researcher at ZAG with particular research focus on various areas of asset management, pavement characteristics, and condition management of transport infrastructure.

The Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute (VTI), is an independent and internationally prominent research institute in the transport sector. Our principal task is to conduct research and development related to infrastructure, traffic and transport. We are dedicated to the continuous development of knowledge pertaining to the transport sector, and in this way contribute actively to the attainment of the goals of Swedish transport policy.

Anna Arvidsson

Anna Arvidsson has a PhD in road climatology and is a senior researcher at VTI. Her main research covers the area of winter road maintenance, road climatology road friction and research related to road data, assessment of road condition, surface characteristics and road infrastructure needs with autonomous vehicles.

Carl Van Geem

Carl Van Geem is a senior researcher with experience in the interpretation of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) measurement data on roads such as deflections, skid resistance, roughness, visual inspection data and data from other sources for applications on project level and for pavement and asset management.

Yuguang Yang

Yuguang Yang has expertise in assessment of concrete structures following his doctoral thesis on shear behaviour of reinforced concrete. He has performed research into detecting and classifying concrete failure using acoustic emissions.

Mogens Saberi

Mogens is a leading expert within monitoring of bridges and offshore structures. He has a solid theoretical knowledge within FE analysis of complex structures and coupling of remote monitoring measurements with FEM. In addition, he has worked extensively with planning and execution of monitoring programs in the field.

Ricardo Antonio Barbosa

Ricardo has specialized in materials technology with a special focus on degradation mechanisms and repair strategies of concrete structures and other types of materials, such as natural stone and polymer concrete. He has extensive experience with condition examinations of concrete structures, including examinations with non-destructive test equipment (NDT).
